Le Luxe is a premium cosmetic company located in France. The company has an extensive market share for national sales and is looking to expand to new markets. The upcoming marketing campaign is focused on growing the north American market, especially French speakers located in Quebec and Louisiana. The challenge is to create an app for a special online event that communicates to both sets of French speakers.

Selected information concerning the target market was supplied by the company. The target demographic is prospective customers that are new to using a luxury cosmetic brand and are interested in buying products for special events and not for daily use. The special event will use an online registration form and will only be used in preparation for and access to the special online event.

The design of the proposed mobile app fits the needs of the target market and the goals of the company. More investigation is needed to determine which products are in demand for special occasions such as weddings, parties, Mardi Gras, etc. Ways to provide more accessibility needs to be determined also. Usability testing and additional research on the emerging market would benefit the final design of the app.
